22.3. 2013: Seminar with Barista michal Křižka

Barista Michal Křižka visited us already for the fourth time, and gave us the opportunity to learn more about the world of coffee, smell it, became friends with coffee and let us to understand, how the coffee should be drink. We heard more than a few words about the culture and history of coffee, botany, cultivation, processing, world map of coffee, decaffeinated coffee… It was followed by the theory of “4M” of perfect espresso, the basic drinks from espresso. We tasted a selection of coffees in the form of espresso, French press, vacuum pot. Each participant got the opportunity to try to prepare cappuccino, espresso, cream whipping and we also admired art of latte etc.
